SHARED LEADERSHIP

Kaleo Phoenix operates under a model of shared leadership in which a relational group of people learn to share responsibility, engaging in both leading and following. We take our cues from the dynamic interrelationality of the Trinity, striving to cultivate a communal, participatory, self-surrendering, and self-giving approach to church leadership.
Erin Dooley About

CO-PASTOR

I come from a family of pastors. My late grandmother was a traveling pastor in the inner city of Chicago and my Dad is an ordained minister. At the age of 13, I fell in love with the ministry and knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. By the age of 18, I was working in full-time ministry and have loved the local church ever since. The current racial climate inspires me daily to advocate for Biblical justice. I work to bring vibrant creativity to everything I do. In my spare time, you can find me recording a podcast called Millennials In Ministry or supporting my husband who’s a Youth Pastor at Neighborhood Ministries.

Chris Towlney About

CO-PASTOR

I have long held the dream of planting a church that shares leadership and centers life around the table. After my wife, Kate, and I moved to Phoenix in 2014 as she began medical school, the dream took on a new life. We partnered to plant Kaleo Phoenix in 2018. I love joining people as we walk the path of being transformed by the Spirit of Jesus whether we are drinking good coffee, sharing a meal in the neighborhood, or playing basketball. As a pastor of Kaleo I strive to grow our awareness of the presence of Jesus in and around us.
